Cast Stone Wet Cast Specification

Manufactured to B.S. 1217

Compressive strength not less than 35 N/mm sq. when tested to B.S. 1217. One part through mix, thoroughly compacted by vibration.

Initial surface absorption -  Grade "A"

Finish - Acid etched to "Seen" surfaces

Colour - to agreed sample

Moulds - Manufactured from timber / plywood. Finished with 3 no. coats of moisture curing varnish

Reinforcement - Cast Stone units reinforced as necessary to resist shrinkage and handling stresses.

Cast Stone Dry Cast Specification

Manufactured to B.S. 1217

Mean compressive strength not less than 25 N/mm sq. when tested to B.S. 1217

Initial surface absorption -  Grade "B"

Finish - Smooth

Colour - to agreed sample

Moulds - Manufactured from timber / plywood. Finished with 3 no. coats of moisture curing varnish

Reinforcement - Cast Stone units reinforced as necessary to resist shrinkage and handling stresses.
